  2. 9/11 affected me by showing that terrorism truly needs to be stopped not only for the tragic event in the past, but forever. Many friends, neighbors, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters died on Sep.1, 2001. Personally it's affected my view of the future by changing how I see the world and its people. Our citizens and national defense have come a far way in protecting us, and for that I respect everyone, including those who unfortunately lost their lives that day. An entire decade has gone by, yet we won't and never will forget that tragic event in history that changed the view of America's future forever.

  3. 9/11 affected me how one country can come together in a time of need. I remember at the time everybody in this great nation came together and supported our president, our troops and our men and women of emergency services. That is a feeling I personally will never forget.

  5. the attack on the world trade center impacted not just our country the most but also the many countries that we partner with. The falling of the twin towers were a sign saying that or intacteractions with the world will end. The so-called plane crash on the pentagon would show or represent that our govenment isnt worth a dime. rather if they lied to us or not the E-ring of the pentagon was blown.

  6. The event of 9/11 was unbelievable to everyone. After this event everything change for citizens. American or non American it effected everyone. After lives were losses people got to work on keeping people better protected from more disasters like 9/11. Now people have there guard up for other attempts like the 9/11 event. Which make some people feel safer. But now I can say that we can be a bit more prepared if such an event tries to pop up.

  8. 9/11 Let Alone affected me because I was in New York when it happened. We were sent home from school. It Felt like every corner and street was not save. In my opinion when the Americans questioned the goverment with the hijacks, all we were left with was with Blank Stares And No Answers. I Still sense hateness towards The Al-Quaeda, because many lifes were lost and just til now, 10 years later, we finally found the guy who was in charge of 9/11. And Even when we found Osama Bin Laden, we asked for prove, and still we were left with just words.

  9. the attack on the world trade center impacted not just our country the most but also the many countries that we partner with. The falling of the twin towers were a sign saying that our intacteractions with the world will end. The thousands of people lost in the crashes devistated our country. Ten years have past and we have killed the man known for the deaths of mothers, fathers and children. Our spirit still burns with will to end the terrorism in the middle east not just to save ourselves but to help the world. We as a people want our troops home and out of danger as the future of our global citzenship is growing to grow no matter what happens.

  10. the whole 9/11 thing affected my in a very powerful way. for one my cousin died during the attack and my family who was in the army was overseas within a month after it happened. however over all i have mixed feeling of how things will turn out. for one even though we killed the person who was in charge of the attack but there are other people willing to take his spot, but either way it goes America is still going to keep going rather people are trying to kill us or not.

  12. To be honest all the events going on about 911, all the talk and videos, confuse me more. I'm getting more questions then answers. Like who crashed the twin towers and what was in the plane? why did the buildings fall so fast? exc. This affects me in a surprising way were now i am more interested in learning more about it as time goes by.

  13. Everything has changed in the future after 9/11. When you go to the airport they have so much security compared to before 9/11. 9/11 has also impacted by life because of my ethnic background, I am from India but everyone assumes i am from Pakistan, Iran, or Afghanistan just because of my skin color and the fact that alot of people would just say that because of 9/11. I also think it will get harder for other people who are similar in ethnic backgrounds to be in the us if something else happens. This is very hard for alot of Indians because most Indians don't agree with the mainly Islamic countries surrounding India but in the process get called or thought of Muslims everyday. People can only hope the future will be peaceful and everyone happy.

  14. It not only affected my view as a citizen, but also as a human. To know that there are cruel people in the world who are willing to take innocent lives for nothing.

  17. i belive that the 9/11 strike was a really tragic and eye opening event. that really changed the way we see everything from the government , the people and the ones we consider terroist from the middle east. i belive now with this attack we will always have that mind set of the middle east. and that we will be at war for time to come ... raza

  19. I must say, 9/11 did affect me personally, I lost no one close to me in the fire, nor was I standing on the sidewalk watching the building burn. But I realize it does mean something to me. A country, my country, which had thought it was bullet proof, was shaken to pieces. Terrorists were no longer a minor threat, or thought to people; suddenly a nation’s eyes were opened to the brutality and violence of hatred. I myself suddenly began to understand airport security, and other precautions taken at national events. Even though it happened ten years ago. What will happen when my generation is in charge of airports, securities, and other national duties? Will we remember our parent’s actions? Or will we forget our history and throw caution to the wind. Will we try to make peace with the country we have fought with for years? Only time can tell, but for now what 9 11 means to me is an uncertain future, full of important decisions and choices. The question is, will we be wise?

  20. As a global citezen, the events of 9/11 have showed me how lax American Security can be. This has taught me to be more alert about my surroundings. I have to be more attentive to others and focus.

  21. the tragic event of 9/11 has effected me personally beacuse it has made me realize that anything can happen at anytime. it has also made me realize that having a escape plan everywhere that you go is relevant, expecially at your work place. the impact of 9/11 has not only affected me as an individual but my country as a whole.

  22. The events within 9/11 and the causes have changes my views in many different ways. Being a 7 year old at the time of the incident, I didn't pay much attention to what was going on. Now as a young adult, I see the 9/11 attack had a HUGE impact on the United States and the whole world. This affected my view in that security isn't as reliable as I saw it as a child. Also, it showed me the importance of family and unity during times of emergency. I also learned that we, whether it'd be a family or the whole country, must be prepared for anything that comes our way in order to prevent any major losses.

  23. 9-11 has changed my whole look on life from watching people around me to keeping up with whats on the news. I was still a child when this event occurred but from videos and documentaries i would like to learn as much as i can about this event.

  24. 9/11 has changed my perspective on how i see life. The event taught me that i should always be on alert where ever i am, because you might never know what is going to happen. And that i should always watch/listen to the news to know what is going on in my surroundings.

  25. The events of 9/11 have affected me as a citizen in many different personal and professional aspects. My personal view on America and our government has been redirected to more of a united perspective and I see America as more than just another country. I see it as strength and rising up from whatever ashes we find ourselves in, even those of the World Trade Center. Professionally, it makes me want to work harder to help protect our country and my fellow citizens. Once I begin active duty, this occurrence will remain in my memories forever and help me charge forth to help my home nation. God bless the souls of those who died and their families.

  26. 9/11 had an impact in my life because none of these types of attacks had ever been seen before. i was shoked, angry, and very upset at the same time. This made me want to be better at what i want to be in the future to protect this country.

  27. I still remember when i saw the second tower get hit live on TV, and thinking to myself what are the odds of two planes flying into the twin towers. Before that time I've never heard of terrorism in the US ever, but after that so many things changed, its like the US went into defense mode.
